I think i hear the grunts and groans of people carrying a toilet across the room. The words, bolts, wax ring, is it sitting straight lead me to beleive WE'LL HAVE A TOILET NOW YIPEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! More pictures to come as we go.

Tile

Well i went and ordered my tile for my bath today.

It's 12x12 greyish beigeish whiteish tile called Gregio (gree she oo) and i am getting bisque grout. When i brought back the samples i told him which one and he said look down there it is about 50 square feet so i could see it all.

LOVE IT.

AND.........it might come in earlier than 2 weeks.

Wrong Part 2

14.Did I mention the tub overhangs from the wall
15.The rotozip chucks wouldn't stay on
16.It took 4 rotozip blades to cut through plastic
17.The tub spigot pipe is interfering with the last piece of tub surround to go in. We've already cut it bigger, but cant take the copper pipe off b/c he cant braze it while the tub surround is in.
WE AGREED ON A TILE
18.Tile store is closed and with my hours i don't know when i get there and order tile.


Sean pretty much lost it today.

What Could Go Wrong....Right???

What could go wrong......

1.the tub is broken when picked up
2.the store does not have another tub need to go on a goose hunt
2.a stuff is happening with Sean's family so Sean is stressed
3.the drawer on the vanity is broken
4.they do not have another 36x18 white vanity, we need to find one
5.the piping where the tub drain is broke when removing toilet
we need to hope there are no leaks or down comes that wall
6.the nipple ring pipe thing where the toilet is breaks HAVE NO WATER TILL WE FIX IT
7.the tub surround flange is too big and will need to be cut unless we want to build the wall out (which we don't)
8.the copper pipe where the shower shut on off valve goes is crooked, we need to splice a coupling on it
9.i hemmed and hawed about having a white vanity and white sink top, i finally pick out a beautiful color saddle, they don't have it for the size vanity we pick to custom order is 400 more...............it'll be all white thank you
10.we cannot decide on a tile
11.did i mention we have no water at the moment and i REALLY have to pee
12.the woman i work with calls me that her Marine son that is home in NC on a leave (was in Iraq, died last nite in a car accident)
13.Lowe's was low on wainscoting. I KNEW we should have gotten last nite.


That's all for now. But as i am told by many this is just typical stuff that happens when remodeling.

Sean is finishing up the shower shut off valves and stuff, then we are headed to GUESS WHERE............yap Home Depot or Lowe's for more stuff and most important wainscoting for the walls. Hopefully i can pee, and maybe if i am lucky we'll head to Chili's for the rest of our gift certificate.

Remodeling Bathroom

Well, it's vacation week and how lovely it is. We have ripped apart the upstairs bath, have a few pictures i'll post soon.

My quest is to try to find tile for floor that somewhat matches the countertop w/out having to special order anything and for a low low price.

I just dont want linoleum, sorry, just for once i'd like tile. I will install it.

I am on my way out now to find TILE YIPEE WAHOOO.

I'll post about my sort of getting in trouble at work, if i cant figure how to put it down here. Telling the story just has more impact.
