Drama

OK.............i have had it with the drama with girls in the neighborhood and out. Emily is now labeled mean b/c she didnt want to play with one of the 10 girls in the neighborhood. She simply didnt want to play and didnt. She just wants to play with this one friend but the other comes along, fine ok, no biggie we explained that, but if she doesnt want to play she's not mean.

She gets whipped by this girl at school (she whips her watch on her arm and pinches Em after repeatdly telling her to stop)and it finally broke from her whipping people with it, Emily laughed as in relief no more whipping me and she's labeled MEAN. She'd had enough and finally decided to clam up and not talk to deal and she's labeled mean.

So i had a talk with this girls mom today and told her. I dont think the girl told her mom she was whipping people with it just that it broke. WELL NEWS. My kids rarely lie. Em came home in hysterics yesterday b/c this girl went to the principal b/c her friends were laughing at her. Em didnt get called down but knew her name was thrown so she was crying in school. I told her this is the perfect opportunity to go to guidance and have a venting chat.

I know alot of the crap around the neighborhood is "GIRL STUFF" but i seriously dont remember going through this stuff THIS EARLY AN AGE, and when are people going to realize that i need not a phone call for every word that they dont like that my child says to them.

Sean and i have had it up to here(take hand and put up to forehead).

I am thankful fall is here and the days are shorter (CANT BELEIVE I AM EVEN LIKING THIS) b/c they wont be able to play after school and alot of this will be avoided. Just means MUCH less computer time for mom, maybe i'll take up reading or soemthing.

We had a long talk with emily last nite about all this drama. I am thankful that tomorrow they cant play open house and friday they are going to my parents b/c we are going to a party from a guy from softball for his 40th.
