If you find a baby bird (with feathers)

If you find a baby bird with feathers, DONT PICK IT UP. IT's called a fledgling. It falls out of the nest for a reason. The mom feeds it on the ground. You'll greatly peeve off the mother if you take it.

I made the mistake today of picking one up. After a few calls, i could NOT accept the fate of this bird just dying. BUT.......I dont like birds, i dont want to care for one.

SO, as i was about to put this bird back in the area i found it...........IT FLEW OFF. It was scared to death.

FYI, as much as the kids want to help, leave him be, there's a reason.
