So my car needed a part that was on national back order, which means there isnt one in any mitsubishi warehouse in the USA.
Now with this in mind there are many many dealers of mitsubishi in the US, but b/c of the dealer bullshit they do not trade parts with other dealers.
SO..........I took it upon myself to search.
My freind from CSS hhooked me up with a website (which unfortunatly didnt pan out) but sent me in the right direction of calling mitsubishi first then numerous dealers throughout the usa each dealer giving me 3 more to call.
I found the part, cheaper than Central in Raynham, but a little more pricey than the website my friend hooked me with. So i split the cost.
It just arrived today. This thing is about 6 feet long.
Come to find out this part is one that is NOT SUPPOSED to fail and is supposed to last the life of the car, and might be a recall.......so if it does i will most likely get reimbursed by mitsubishi for repairs as follows.
180 for diagnosis
275 for part and shipping
150 for installation of part
This for a car that was paid off and has nothing but trouble. so ya, let's not buy a mitsubishi.

Car Troubles
I have a diagnosis to my car and the check engine light on.
its the fuel filler assembly.....320 bucks
ok
not bad
but............
the part is on back order and they dont know when it will come in. Could take months. OK.......
But wont pass inspection if not replaced............
Better be in by August.
SO the jeep is having problems too and after some researching.......
it coudl be the same part
or the way i put the fuel thingie in to fill.
I am going to call jeep.
hopefully this is under warranty.

My Day Today
Meg jammed her finger yesterday in gym and last nite was swollen and purple as it was this morning. So a trip to the doctor, a few xrays revealed a bruised bone. Radilogist going to double check the growth plate on the finger isn't broken or damaged. She has her splint which she so desperately wanted. She's excused from Gym this week and wont be doing floor hocky tomorrow.
Then on the way to the docs my CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON again....... A quick trip to Ken's revealed it's a minute emissions leak that isnt a threat, wont harm, environment and car or us. So he reset the light but if it comes on again i'll need to take to the dealer b/c it's a very tough thing to find b/c it's so minute. So i saved myself some money.
I have spoken to two people from Sullivan Tire and they so desperatly want me back as a customer. They are issuing me a check for the full amount of work done yesterday $128.95. I am syked about that. I havnet been a bitch about it just honest in saying IF I DO go back i cant have him work on my car again. I dont think they remember that i am the one that consistantly tells them to bring it back in this or that wasnt done b/c i watch through the window.
Chilling before i take Meg to the chiropracter that's another post.

Ahhh the Sullivan Tire Saga Continues
So today b/c it still was shimmying and out of aligment (due to the wheel issue) i had another mechanic look at it today.
NOT ONE OF THE TIRES WAS PROPERLY BALANCED.......... after today NO MORE SHIMMYING even at 35 mph.
My alignment is right. The steering wheel is straight.
I called corporate who was really nice the man called me back w/in 2 minutes. He is going to try to get reimbursement for this for me.
I emailed him the bill from today and was very apologietic and not to happy (on their part) when i told him that i have 3000 miles to find a new place to do oil changes and buy tires from.

3 Randoms
Ok. so first we get MCAS results today, it made my stomach DROP. Meg is warning in math and needs improvement in ELA.
If you read last nites post about the math homework........i've called her teacher to discuss possibly some tutoring.
This morning i go to the bank. I notice they give me too much money back so i pulled back in. The MAROON says oh i couldnt tell if that was a one or a seven so i just assumed. the look on my face.........i said in the kindest most gentle way i could being a MIFFED as i was....... NEXT TIME ASK ME TO CONFIRM IT PLEASE, and the look i got was like yah right bitch. Then she takes 15 min to reverse the transaction and then puts in tube and walks away, no apology, no NOTHING.
Not only is this pissing me off but EVERY WEEK i put the amount on the bottom that i get back, YOU COULDNT FIGURE THAT OUT YOU IDIOT. Debating whether to call main branch (but dont want reprocussions b/c it's my money) or just change banks. I havent been happy with them for a while now.
And LASTLY......my tires are still NOT BALANCED. Not only did sullivan tire plymouth screw up on my lugnuts they didnt balance right so now i have to find someone new to do it. I will not trust them to fix or even tell me if it's wrong. Since they didnt offer ANY recorse for the huge mistake they made.

Sullivan Tire Plymouth AVOID IT
On September 9th i had my oil change, tires rotated and wheels balanced.
First they did the o/c and rotation, but when i watched and saw the wheels werent balanced i asked them. He said yes, i said ok which was worse, i dont mean to be a bitch, but which one was worse, so the 17 year old barely balls dropped mechanic comes out and says oh no i didnt see it on the sheet. They brought back in.
On the 10th i noticed a knocking the car.....thinking ball joints, i let go for we dont have the $$.
Yesterday on the way to Pembroke the knocking got so bad the car wobbled. I was a wreck, pulled over to see if a flat.....nope, breaks werent smoking or stuck. I continued on very slowly.
BP WAS OBVIOUSLY UP.
Brought to mechanic after visit, 4 of the 5 lug nuts on the front driver tire were only hand screwed on. ONLY ONE BOLT HELD THIS TIRE ON FOR 3 weeks.
Ken, put back on n/c and made sure the rest were ok. I prayed the whole way there and he said it worked b/c you should have lost your tire MILES AGO! THANK YOU GOD for protecting me.
So i called Sullivan tire, told them very diplomatically (i'd calmed down by this point and was more THANKFUL that nobody or my car was hurt) and the guy said i hope this doesnt deter you from coming here again.. I couldnt reply. I was floored that after forgetting to rotate once, last time forgetting to balance and now THIS........does he seriously think i will go there or tell me friends.
So i now have 3,000 miles to figure out where to get oil changes, tire rotations without being paranoid they wont put the lug nuts on.

DONE with Sullivan Tire DONE
Routine oil change, tire rotation and this time i threw in the so complicated balancing of tires.
So b/c they messed up about a year ago and didnt rotate tires and had to ask them to bring back in, every time i go there i keep an eye out and watch through the window.
SO MY MISTAKE, i saw them putting new tires on i swear the same rims as mine with no other endeavors there. I spoke up like an idiot and he's like nope that's not yours hun.
So i sit down (been there an hour now) i see them rotate but not balance.
So i speak up to the guy in a nice round about way asking how bad was the balance off etc. He's like let's ask him pointing to technician a young kid and he goes uhhh wha? I didnt see to balance on there, and i thought it was done.
SO they had to pull it BACK IN to balance tires. AHhh 2 hours later.
BUT the good news is they didnt charge me for the balance saving me $60.

NO BRAKES
Well my mechanic called and my car doesnt need brakes only 50% used. I guess b/c i've been using jeep more the brakes get a smidgen of rust esp when raining and we all know this summer's been rainy. It mostly does it in the rain. SO he cant charge me for the brakes only $20 to have taken apart SYKE. TY GOD it spared us rotors and pads.

Braces Doctor B.S./and Car Trouble

She doesnt have the top wire on b/c she needs that tooth extracted so they are waiting.
We went up the school after for locker try outs and Em did great. I got her out of chorus, talked to her guidance councelor who gave us a personal tour b/c Em is so anxious about it. She was great then met the adjustment councelor who was awesome. The only one not so warm and fuzzy was the receptionist in guidance but i beleive she's leaving to be replaced by a woman who worked at the school for years and is a LOVE. We greeted with a huuuuuuuuuge hug.
CARDIOLOGIST
So yesterday i called to change my doctor (y'all know how much i love her)and the receptionist got the biggest attitude. She's like well i will have to ask Dr. C (the new doc)if it's ok. I said i cant switch? she said no b/c your already a patient of the other Dr. F. I said OOOOOOOOOOKAY. THen she asked me how flexible i was.
I could have answered this so many ways but refrained.
So i said flexible? "WIth his appointments?" She answered. In the most wise ass tone i could think of i said, "Well......when we make an appointment for Dr.C i will tell you my availabilty at THAT TIME and we'll go from there." She's like OH OK (in a blonde voice) Shaking my head just thinking about it.
I havent heard from them in a day in a half, i'll be calling back tomorrow. I dont give a crap if i am a pain, i'll at least cancel Dr. F. Are they seriously going to tell me i cant change HA HA HA! Tell me I cant. Just tell me. Go ahead i dare you. I'll just come back w/ok i'll find someone closer since i can see any doctor.
My blood pressures have been 132/84, 140/84,126/84. To any moron that has any idea what a blood pressure is KNOWS that those are half way decent numbers OFF MEDS compared to the 150/100 and 195/111 ON 50 mgs of Toporol.
I plan (i hope i follow through) to start walking or doing some sort of exercise soon after kids go back.

So i make my last Endeavor payment last week YIPEEEE never had a payed off car before well my 81 honda civic i paid 600 for when i was 17. And as i was driving home today from mom's the brakes in front started to grind again. They've been doing it sporadically so in a panic called dad and then remembered Ken (my mechanic) said i'd need front brakes (probably rotors and pads) after summer. So sean met me after work and we dropped it off.
AHHHHHHHHHH MONEY goes out so much faster than it comes in. Got a few medical bills paid off today (2) and paid on 1 of 3 others. I am going to be looking for some sort of job too, nothing at the school no way i know too much now and wouldnt ever.
