Seriously.......Does it take a death

of a child or someone else in the path of my neurotic neighbor who flys down the street at the time the kids are getting off the bus.

The kids wanted to walk so i let them as i was getting in the car,i saw her FLYING down the street. SO i screamed at the kids to get over to the side (just in time before she slammed on her brakes)

SO.........i looked at the mom i was talking to she agreed she took the turn too fast.

Caught up with her and told her she needs to slow down when the kids are coming off the bus.

"but i slammed on my brakes" and drove off, so i yelled POLICE......

So i called but i doubt they will do anything.

Was I Wrong??

Was i wrong to call the police on my neighbor (yes the dog ones) b/c the wife was FLYING down the street after the kids got off the bus drifting in the other lane.

I had to YELL at her (one of many times) to slow down.

After she drifted at me and i yelled.

I decided to call the police and report her. I told them we have a history, but i have had enough of her flying down WS Road ESPECIALLY when the kids are walking from getting off the bus? I told she has a drinking problem and when she's drifting down the other road, i've had ENOUGH. Thank God the dispatch lady was polite and will keep it confidental, but we all know they are gonna know it's me since i yelled.

Did i go too far?

My Day Joy and Anger

I had to take Meg to the dentist to get her spacer put back on. It only took 5 min at the most. That was the joyous part.

later after the girls i watch left, my kids went out to play.

They came in (right before they were going to have to come in) and i said outside girls. and they didn't push it. I didn't think there was anything wrong.

BOY WAS I WRONG.

The little girl up the street, is screaming on the phone to her mom pick me up now, i mean like a fit of hysterics. Sean and i look at each other like what the heck just happened.

Her mom pulls up........she runs to the car, it was locked, she was BANGING on the door to get it. Got in and hid under the dashboard on the floor in the front.

What would bring a child to hysterics you ask?

The first grader who's questionable in the neighborhood, told her that Jason was in the pits (we live near power lines) and killed people and chasing with axes.

WELL..........i went off (first) i was like WHO ON EARTH WOULD TELL THEIR CHILD SUCH A HORRIBLE THING???? The girls were like "Carly did mom" I was like that is SO NOT RIGHT.

Sean's turn.

He's like LOOK, if you want to hang out with my children you WILL NOT say stuff like that around her. WE explained it was a lie, and that it was a movie, (that we found out this child watched at 5 years old). And her uncle tells her Jason lives in the pits. SERIOUSLY.

I posted about this several months ago. It ENRAGES ME when parents LIE to their children about such FOOLISHNESS. It took me a good HOUR to calm down i was so mad.

WHY do parents do that, and if you are one of them please reconsider. I can explain or show you how scared this child was leaving my house. She was in hysterics and i felt so bad. I later called the parents and THANKFULLY she'd calmed down. But will be in her parents bed for some time and just might not come out of the house to play b/c she has to drive by the pits to go anywhere.

At What Point.....................

At what point do you not let your kids play with others in the neighborhood. I don't remember THIS much drama as a kid growing up in Quincy. I mean we had drama, but every darn day my kids come home saying something someone else has said, whether it be bad, or what not.

There's a family that moved in not to long ago from Brockton. Sorry, but i still have this stigma of "Brockton" going on especially with these kids.

One is 14(girl), one is 10 (boy, 9 (girl) and the 21 year old sister.

The 14 year old has a mouth.I've spoken to her MANY TIMES BEFORE.

They didn't think i was watching/listening and she's talking smack about another child that Meg is friends with and her little sister chimes in.

WHERE THIS CAME FROM..........I'm not one to speak up to kids. But i was like LOOK your not gonna come over here and say stuff about the other kids and bring mine into it. (EM STUCK UP FOR THE OTHER ONE NOT PRESENT) and i was like my kids are friends with her, your not, that's fine but don't come over here saying stuff like that it's not nice. BUT IN A MUCH HARSHER TONE.

They are slowly pushing people away (other kids AND PARENTS) with their attitudes. Their parents aren't much better, no rules, no morals, no boundaries.

I am about (picture two fingers together) this far from telling MY kids they cant play with any of them anymore. BUT......they are like the only girls in the 'hood. I am thankful that cooler weather coming which means my kids will be in the house sooner and i wont have to deal with this CRAP!!!!!!!!

Neighbor Saga II

Our neighbor came over today ABSOLUTELY BLASTED! He was trying to talk to us about the dogs. We went rounds for about 20 min with a slurring, hardly standing drunk man.

The kicker he said Sean attacked his wife and daughter! If that was the case wouldnt the police have come back over??

Did i Just See That????

Ok so today the kids were all playing. All 12 of them. I had to speak to the boys about rough housing with my girls. Not a biggie. I told them if they were going to roughhouse they need to go. THEY DID.

They returned.

So Em comes in the house crying b/c one grabbed her by the neck and whipped her down. She's ok.

Friends of theirs have an older sister 21ish with a son. She's standing at the end of my driveway watching this. Says nothing but oh she's a girl.

I was floored that one she wouldnt speak to her own little brother and two just nothing in general. OK I LET IT GO.

I go in the house, tend to Em, i look out the back and the 21 year old and her son are just swinging on my swingset. I look out and say UMMMMMMM HI????

Is it me or is it rude to just walk in someones yard and sit down with their kid and start swinging???????

Am i over reacting.

I seriously walked around my house for a few before IMing Kel to ask am i over reacting here?

Thank God she agreed with me, but definatly a WTF moment??

It's a First For Us...........

To have the police called on us. Tonite while Em was driving home, my neighbors dog chased and almost attacked her. It was biting at her tire and missed her leg. So she came home ABSOLUTELY HYSTERICALLY CRYING. Sean marched over and confronted them. We got a barrage of excuses: I just had surgery today (well i heard from another neighbor she had surgery the other day, you'd think husband would stay home if his wife had neck surgery......but) the dog snuck out. Sean was screaming at her. Didn't threaten her, didn't swear. Told her we've had ENOUGH of their dogs and now it's attacking our kids, enough is enough. Sean said if your dog snuck out why wasnt anyone out there going after it??? She had nothing to say.

The daughters boyfriend calls the police. Sean leaves a message w/the dog officer. (who knows us well b/c of them and wont even go to the house b/c of how vicious the dogs are..Keep this in mind THE WORD VICIOUS...it comes up again)

So......the daughter is sent over. The 16 year old daughter to rectify the situation. DID SHE THINK WITH THE HISTORY WE'VE HAD WITH THEM WE WOULD INVITE HER IN FOR TEA......I think NOT!!!!!!!!!!!

Sean starts off and says I AM NOT SPEAKING TO YOU ABOUT THIS, YOUR A TEENAGER. she's like i am 16 he's like your not an adult. (OH SO MUCH WAS SAID SO LET ME SUMMARIZE)

i walked away initially, but when i heard her say my dogs aren't vicious i whipped around and went barrel assing down the driveway. I said your dogs aren't vicious, they bit your fathers finger off, she's like umm aaah welll ummm you don't know the circumstances behind that. I said ANY DOG That bites their owners finger off is not by all means gentle. I said let me tell you the other situations of where your dog is vicious......i named them. She's like dont yell at me it's not my fault. I said LOOK i respect the fact your trying to fix this (MIND YOU I AM FOAMING AT THE MOUTH YELLING SO MUCH) but this is NOT your problem it's your parents. Your not an adult, this is NOT your responsibly it's your parents, so have them call us or whatever.

I pointed at her and said LOOK I've had a problem with you and your dogs since the day we moved in her. The look on her face was priceless.

Then the boyfriend gets all fluffy and steps towards Sean. Sean says YOU stay out of this and shut your mouth, you don't live here you don't know the situation. He's like I'll speak if i want to speak. Sean's like LEAVE MY PROPERTY NOW.

Meanwhile one of our kids was calling police. Police said don't worry your neighbor already called.

The police came out and like he didn't care. He's like it didn't bite your daughter so this is a dog officer problem. And off he went to talk to them.

I was outside and the daughter and her boyfriend kept walking by my house. They'd go from one fence to the other.

OHHHHHHHHHHHHH and earlier in the day i had a WTF moment, but i'll blog that later.
